A sweet, well-structured liqueur made by the steam distillation of star anise seeds. The essential oils which these seeds yield are then mixed with water, alcohol, sugar and other natural flavourings.
Typically enjoyed neat, or added to coffee. It can also be served chilled and used in cocktails.
