De Bernard prosecco DOC

Geographic area: Treviso
Grape: 100% Glera
Harvesting period: late September to mid-October
Vinification: soft pressing of grapes, controlled temperature fermentation. Secondary fermentation on the lees in large sealed tanks at 12–14°C for around 2 months produces the effervescence. Pressure in the bottle is 5.5 atm.
Tasting notes: clear straw-yellow in colour with greenish highlights, with fine, persistent effervescence.
Delicate yet intensely fragrant, with predominantly fruity notes of apple and banana. Fresh and clean in the mouth, with good equilibrium, agreeably lively with the right balance of sweetness and acidity.
Serving recommendations: best served at a temperature of 5-7°C, pouring immediately after removing the cork.
Recommended with: as an aperitif, throughout meals with light foods.
